An interview with Julia: author of a romance/war series
Julia, the author of a romance/war series, has graciously agreed to be interviewed. She is, as of now, unpublished, but that is because she is waiting to wrap up the series so that she can publish it in a timely manner. A college junior, she is balancing writing with schoolwork, her job, and social aspects of college life. I have been privileged enough to read some of her writing, and I must say, it is fantastic! Join me in my interview with Julia:
1- Kammie: When did you get into writing?
Julia: I have always been writing. I have written some works that will never see the light of day, just like you have.
2- Kammie: Is there anything you can tell us about your series?
Julia: Well, from what I can tell you, there is an epic love story throughout the ages. There are two warring countries- Verdantia and Frenquite. They are sworn enemies, and there are two key players for the series.
3- Kammie: Who are the key players?
Julia: Elias and Delane. They are my main characters that we follow throughout the series.
4- Kammie: I love them! How many books should we expect in the series?
Julia: Right now? I think the count is four or something like that- there are a lot of novels that I have planned, but that is the official count. My first book was too long, so I had to split that up. SO at least four.
5- Kammie: When should we expect it?
Julia: Sometime soon. I am doing an independent study to get it ironed out.
That was a wonderful study! I enjoyed her presence, and her laughter is infectious. She is one of the best authors that I have ever met. Like I said before, I had the privelege of reading her works before the interview. I haven’t been able to read all of them, but I have read a significant portion of them. I do have to say that there are quite a lot of plot twists in there that readers will not be expecting- I was not expecting them for sure! I loved being able to interview her, and I can’t wait to read the series when it is published! Our personalities mesh well together, and I genuinely enjoyed this interview. She is a fantastic author.
There are a few takeaways from this interview:
Takeaway 1- Romance and war is a classic pairing. It’s like peanut-butter-and-jelly.
Takeaway 2- She has been writing since a very young age. This proves that talent and discipline go hand in hand.
Thank you for reading!
